St Vincent’s Hospital is one of five A1 tertiary hospitals in Melbourne. The Hospital provides general medical and surgical, specialist medical and surgical, state-wide services, extensive training and research and operates an area mental health service for northern and eastern corridors. The facility has extensive networks in rural and regional Victoria and is a major provider of correctional health services. St Vincent’s Hospital owns and operates a private pathology network, private radiology services, general practice services, dialysis and breast screen satellite site.

St Vincent’s Hospital on the Park supports some of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne’s lower-acuity patients. This includes some of our palliative care and rehabilitation services.

Caritas Christi Hospice

Patients are admitted for varying reasons including symptom management, respite, restorative care, discharge planning and end of life care.

Patients may be transferred from inpatient units within St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne or other hospitals, or be admitted directly from home.

Prague House is a 45 bed low care residential aged facility. The uniquely designed purpose built facility is located in Kew, and easily accessible on the 109 tram route.

The Victorian Government has worked with St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne to build a new 90 bed aged residential facility at the current St George’s Health Service site in Kew.

St Vincent's Hospital Sydney is a full service acute teaching public hospital, with significant training and research activities and centres of excellence in heart and lung transplantation, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cancer, acquired immune deficiency syndrome/HIV, respiratory medicine, mental health and drug and alcohol services.

Sacred Heart Health Service (Sacred Heart) is a leading provider of Palliative Care and Rehabilitation services. Opened by the Sisters of Charity in 1890 as a dedicated Hospice for the terminally ill, we have grown from a small palliative care cottage to a facility offering comprehensive rehabilitation services as well as specialist supportive and palliative care.
